Remove the Crosshairs from the Shepherds
In prayer this morning, I asked the Holy Spirit what are you saying to the church or to our nation right now, and He showed me a picture of a shooting range. When you’re at a range, you can choose to buy a page with a target on it. You get to choose your target. And I hear that many, in and outside the church, have chosen to go to the range and use pastors as targets. And just like you have to buy a target, the devil is selling targets, and one of the main targets he’s pushing is the role and office of the pastors in churches. So many are buying what the devil is selling them, what the wounded and confused world is selling them.
But, I felt prophetically that God is saying:
“It’s time to remove the crosshairs from your pastor” (or pastors in general)
Why? Because there’s judgment attached to dishonor and to unrighteous judgments. While there are pastors who are operating in sin because the role of the pastors is occupied by imperfect people, you must know that Jesus is guiding and directing His Church globally and is bringing judgment on every shepherd who mishandles the sheep.
Instead, pray for your pastors and leaders, and pray for truth and justice, and if you see a pastor or your pastor do something that seems unbiblical, first go to them and talk and ask questions. Don’t assume you’re right, and don’t assume the satanic role of the accuser. Ask questions and allow clarity to relieve the anxieties that divisive lies are trying to create.
Hebrews 13:17 Amplified Bible 17 Obey your [spiritual] leaders and submit to them [recognizing their authority over you], for they are keeping watch over your souls and continually guarding your spiritual welfare as those who will give an account [of their stewardship of you]. Let them do this with joy and not with grief and groans, for this would be of no benefit to you.
